What Causes Lip Wrinkles?

Lip wrinkles, often referred to as “lip lines” or “smoker’s lines,” are a common aging concern for many individuals. These fine lines around the mouth are primarily caused by the natural aging process. As we get older, our skin loses collagen and elastin, which results in the skin around the lips becoming thinner and less able to snap back into place after movement.
